Change the Interface Language
PaperLink supports six interface languages. You can switch the language from your settings, from the sign-in page, or by editing the URL directly.

Change Language in Settings
This is the recommended way. It saves your preference to your account, so PaperLink remembers it across devices and sessions.
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Find the App Settings section.
- Under Interface Language, open the dropdown and select your language.
The page navigates to the new language automatically. A loading indicator shows while the preference is saved.
Change Language on the Sign-In Page
Before you log in, a language selector appears in the top-right corner of the sign-in page. Click it and choose a language. The page reloads in the selected language.
This does not save a preference to your account since you are not logged in yet. After you sign in, PaperLink uses the language saved in your profile.
Change Language via URL
Every PaperLink URL starts with a language code. You can switch languages by replacing that code directly in your browser's address bar.
Format: https://app.paperlink.online/{code}/...
Example:
- English:
app.paperlink.online/en/dashboard - Spanish:
app.paperlink.online/es/dashboard - German:
app.paperlink.online/de/dashboard
Replace the two-letter code and press Enter. The page loads in the new language immediately.
Changing the URL loads the page in that language but does not update your saved preference. To make it permanent, change the language in Settings.
How Auto-Detection Works
When you visit PaperLink for the first time without a saved preference, the app detects your language automatically:
- Saved preference - if you changed the language before, PaperLink uses that setting.
- Your location - if no preference exists, PaperLink checks your country and picks the matching language. For example, visitors from Spain see Spanish, visitors from Germany see German.
- Default - if your country does not match any supported language, PaperLink defaults to English.
Once you set a language manually (through Settings), auto-detection no longer applies.
